James Pierce Hensley

James Pierce Hensley, 25, of Weatherford went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2020, after obtaining injuries from a Motocross Accident.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Prior a visitation will be held beginning at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Weatherford Animal Shelter in memory of James.

James was born on October 24, 1994, in Weatherford, Texas, to Carl and Jimmye Hensley. He graduated from Peaster High School in 2013 before attending Hardin Simmons and Vernon College. James had a passion for baseball and continued playing through his college years. Later, James decided to open Texas Superior Shine and thrived as a business owner. He loved animals, especially dogs, motocross, and enjoyed spending time with his friends. James had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back, even with passing James giving continues as he donated his organs.

James leaves behind his parents, Carl and Jimmye Hensley; girlfriend, Cassidy Dellarocco; grandmother, Carol Lindsey; great-grandmother, Helen Shawver; uncle, Rex Hendrick (Janie); cousins, Caleb Hendrick, Seth Hendrick (Julia), and Hannah Hendrick (Steven Baker); second cousins, Nora Hendrick and Everly Baker; great-aunt and uncle, Ron and Marge Booth; friends that became family, Kaden Fowler, Angel Soriano, Jacob Finley, Gray Pace, Matt Lester, Dylan Cummins, Nick Holloway, and Logan Smart; faithful pets, Buddy and Juice; and a host of loving friends.
