Janice “Marinell” Wilmoth, 79, of Fort Worth, passed away Saturday evening, September 8, in Fort Worth.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday evening, September 12 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Service Road in Willow Park. Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will private at a later date.
Marinell was born September 29, 1938, in Ranger, Texas to Henry and Velma Reese. She married Jess Joseph Wilmoth in February 8, 1957 and together had two sons, Derrell and Randy. She was a 1957 graduate of Brewer High School. Marinell was a life-long member of Wesley United Methodist Church in White Settlement. She enjoyed ‘taking care of others’ and was the Activities Director at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home. Marinell was also a Counselor for Weight Watchers for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing the piano, shopping, gambling, traveling, skiing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Marinell will affectionately be remembered for her love of her family and friends.
Marinell is survived by her sons, Derrell and Randy (Vicki) Wilmoth; grandchildren, Rachel Wylen, Britney McGinnis, Jessica Wilmoth, Amanda Prescher, and Andrew Wilmoth; and by her brother, Truman Wayne Reese (Barbara).
In addition to her parents, Marinell was preceded in death by her husband Jess in 2006.
