Jannie Mirl Downing

Jannie Mirl Downing, age 87. of Weatherford, died Friday morning, April 1, 2011 in the local hospital.  She was born April 3, 1923 in Erath County, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for several years.  She was a homemaker. Jannie is survived by her husband, Jack Downing of Weatherford; five daughters, Ann Crawford of Fort Worth, Rita Beauchamp of Weatherford, Kay Clepper and husband, Ray of Springtown, Judy Walker and husband, Herbert of Weatherford and Dories Barker and husband, David of Gordon; brother, Floyd Jones of San Angelo; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchild.

Graveside service: 2 PM, Monday, April 4, 2011 in the Oakland Cemetery.  Visitation: 2-4 PM, Sunday, April 3, at the funeral home.
