Jared Wade Rogers

Former First Sergeant Jared Wade Rogers, 37, passed away on October 13, 2021. Jared joined the U.S. Army in 2003, and served three tours in Iraq, until honorably discharging in 2010. He enjoyed his time after the military as an avid hunter and outdoorsman as well as participating in Patriot Guard rides. 

He is survived by his parents, Karey and Thomas Larkin of Weatherford, and Timmy Rogers of Dallas; his son, Lane Rogers of Aledo; his sister, Hollie Archer, grandparents, Pat and Gerald Costner of Wylie, and Joel and Lynn Rogers of Dallas. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jennifer Williams, and her son, Sam, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and Army brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford. The family will receive loved ones and friends on Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., also at Galbreaith Pickard.
