Jarvis Vonn McGill

Jarvis Vonn McGill, 88, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 in a Weatherford nursing facility. Vonn was born November 22, 1931 in Weatherford, to Joe Chandler and Vola Nix McGill. He was a member of Grace First Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge. Vonn was a retired locksmith and rural letter carrier for Weatherford USPS. He enjoyed leather crafting, repairing clocks, camping and loved working with his hands. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Katy. 

Vonn is survived by his daughter, LaVonna Jackson and husband Ray; sister, Doris Hagler and husband Charles, both of Weatherford grandchildren, Dustin, Tyler, Sabrina and Analicia; great grandchildren, Shaunn, Mary, Juan Jr., Kayla and Kadance.

Graveside Service: 3pm, Friday, May 8, 2020 in Oakland Cemetery. Vonn's family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Hilltop Park for taking wonderful care of Vonn.
