Jason Ray Geer, 51, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024. He was born on December 14, 1972, in Fort Worth, Texas. His parents are Jamie Geer and Helen (Blanton) Baileys; Jason devoted his life to his family, cherishing every moment shared with them.
After graduating from high school, Jason married Jennifer Wallace, beginning a beautiful journey of 26 years together. Their bond was one of love, laughter, and shared memories, a testament to their enduring commitment.
Professionally, Jason worked as a C&C operator for GH Hensley Industries, where his calm demeanor and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends. Known for his gentle spirit and a heart of gold, Jason's caring nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His joyful personality was reflected in his love for karaoke, friendly dart games, going to BBQ cook-offs, and the warm gatherings of family and friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Baileys, and brother-in-law, Richard Browning.
Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Geer, of Weatherford, Texas; his mother, Helen Baileys; his father, Jamie Geer and stepmother, Pam; his sisters, Brittany Geer, Lauren Miller and her husband, Ryan, and Aimee Baileys; his brother, Anson Baileys and his wife, Sonya; his mother-in-law, Donna Wallace, and her husband, Jimmie; his sister-in-law, Angela Browning; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and his cherished dog, and pride and joy, Mandy Lynn Geer, who was his constant companion.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jason’s life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas.
Jason’s kindness, love, and the joy he spread to those around him will forever be remembered. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
