Jason Heath Goree

Jason Heath Goree, 45, of Weatherford, passed away early Sunday, September 10, 2017, at his home, following a courageous fight against Type 1 Diabetes.
A Committal Service celebrating his life will be held at 2 P.M., on Wednesday, September 13, at Memory Gardens, west of Weatherford.
Jason was born August 26, 1972 in Plainview, Texas to Sharon Goree and Alton Goree. He married Kelli Holland July 25, 1998 and together had two sons, Jacob Heath and Joshua Layne. Jason will fondly be remembered as a giving family man who was ‘all about his family.’ He was very involved in sports, including Team Roping and Bull Riding. Jason enjoyed watching his boys’ baseball games.
Jason is survived by his wife, Kelli; sons, Jacob and Joshua Goree all of Weatherford; parents, Sharon Kelley-Goree of Weatherford and Alton Goree of Newcastle, Texas; by his brother, Jarrod Thomas Goree and his wife Sarah and their children, Kaitlyn and Tye of Springtown; maternal grandmother, Jerrye “Mamaw” Kelley; and by his cousins, Kelley Don Medlin and Kristopher Coe Medlin from Weatherford; and by several other cousins.
Jason was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Na’Coe; maternal grandfather, Charley Leroy Kelley (Pap); and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Goree.
