J.B. Perry Sr.

  J.B. Perry, Sr., 92, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008, at a local nursing facility. J.B. was born on August 27, 1916, in Shields, Texas, to James and Ada Perry. He lived in Santo for 20 years before moving to Weatherford where he resided for over 70 years. He served his country as a Marine during World War II. J.B. owned and operated Perry Roofing Company for 43 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of the local VFW and American Legion. 

  Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ada, and three brothers, C.B. Perry, J.W. Perry, and Jethro Perry. 

  He is survived by his daughter, Rosaleen Eason and husband, Bob of Kingsland, two sons; J.B. Perry, Jr. and wife, Erma of Springtown, Rondi Perry and wife, Amy of Weatherford; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, interment in Bosley Cemetery, in Santo. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
