Jenna Mae Thedford

Jenna Mae Haddock (Dixon) Thedford passed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on April 7, 2019 in Weatherford.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. A graveside home-going celebration will be held at 10 am, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Annetta Cemetery, in Annetta/Aledo, Texas. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Wednesday, April 10, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Jenna (born Genna) Mae was born April 20, 1928 to Roy F. and Ava E.E. (Waddell) Haddock. In her lifetime she taught Sunday School, GA’s, piano lessons and adult literacy. She retired after she catalogued/curated the Mary Martin exhibit, along with many other historical items for the Doss Heritage Society. She enjoyed daily Bible study, oil painting, playing 42 and games, researching genealogy and chatting with family and friends. She will be remembered for always greeting with a smile, a hug and helping anyone in need. Jenna was preceded in death by her parents, husband R. Junior Thedford, son Cecil W. Dixon, step-son Rickey J. Thedford and grandson Jeffrey W. Dixon, along with numerous siblings. She is survived by her daughter Tracey Thedford Geron and Robby; grandchildren, Clinton Humphrey and Shelby, Jacob Geron, Jarrod Dixon and Jennifer, Misty Dixon Ruthsell and David, Randy Dixon and Michelle, Amy Dixon Watson and Levi; nine great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Sharon Stovall and Janas Byrnes and their families, along with extended family and precious friends.
The family greatly appreciates the loving care given by the staff of Brookdale Assisted Living and Hospice+ of Weatherford. The family requests that in her honor, you dedicate your time to the study of God’s word, your love to family and your offerings and donations to American Veterans Aid, American Heart/Lung Association, American Literacy or your local charity of choice.
