Jerry Dale Hardin

Jerry Dale Hardin, age 71, passed from this life on Monday, July 24, 2023. He was born June 14, 1952, in Parker County, Texas to John Henry Hardin and Courtney Mae (Scoville) Hardin.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy actively for four years. He was also a Naval reservist for an additional eight years. Following his military service, he continued to work as a federal employee until his retirement in 2007. Jerry married his childhood sweetheart, Kathy, recently celebrating 51 years of marriage. He and Kathy enjoyed traveling Texas and neighboring states in their travel trailer. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and recent Great Grandfather.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Courtney Hardin, and his siblings: Billy, Jesse Mae, Tom, Don, and Jimmy.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathryn Sue Hardin; son, Jerel Hardin and wife, Shelly (Weatherford, TX); grandchildren, Courtney Driver (Dillon), Hailey Kimball (Richard), Randee Wiggs (Alton), and Preston Hardin (Kylie); and great grandson, Elias Wiggs.

Visitation is at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Lemley Cemetery, on Cold Springs Rd. off Old Authon Rd. via FM 1885, in Weatherford, Texas.
