Jesse Leon Rutledge

Jesse Leon Rutledge, 89, of Millsap passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Funeral service: 2p.m, Sunday December 11, 2016 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 4:30 -6:30 p.m, Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice. J.L. was born May 17, 1927 in Knox County, Texas to T.J. and Geneva Murphree Rutledge. He was a test lab mechanic for General Dynamics for 37 years and a faithful member of Soda Springs Baptist Church. J.L loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed singing gospel songs and tinkering, welding and building things. He is survived by his devoted wife Frances; children, Ronnie Rutledge. Larry Rutledge and Dana Taylor and husband Jim; four grandchildren, Brian Keith Rutledge, Kim Rutledge Moore and husband James, Gail Griffin and husband James, Kristen Taylor: five great grandchildren, Charity and Chandler Griffin, Rhyder Rutledge, Jesse James and Harley Jo Moore.
