Jessica Michelle (Elliott) Shropshire

Jessica Michelle Shropshire (Elliott), age 40, unexpectedly passed away on September 24, 2023. She was born in Asheville, North Carolina, on June 14, 1983 to Sandra (Chambers) Chapman and Steve Elliott. Jessica was a graduate of Weatherford High School and was a beloved mother and daughter.

On April 4, 2004, she married Chad English, and they went on to have two beautiful children, KayLeigh and Wesley. She later would move back to South Carolina and get remarried.

In her spare time, she enjoyed watching football, especially the Broncos. Jessica’s children were her life. She enjoyed being goofy and being herself when around her family. Jessica definitely wasn’t perfect, but she was always loved no matter where she was.

Jessica was survived by her children, Wesley Mark English and KayLeigh Elizabeth English; as well as her parents, brothers, nieces and nephews, and many aunts and uncles.

There will be a memorial celebration of life for Jessica on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1402 N. Lake Dr., Weatherford, Texas, at 3:00 p.m.

The family will also be having a small graveside burial at the old City Greenwood Cemetery, located at 200 E. Front St., Weatherford, Texas, on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.
