Jessie Faye Cowley Walters

Jessie Faye Cowley Walters, 97, of Weatherford passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, in a Fort Worth Hospital. The youngest of 12 children, she was born August 16, 1922, in Palo Pinto County, Texas, to Thomas Martin and Dehlia Ann Allen Cowley. 

Faye married JB Earl Walters in April of 1946, and together they had four daughters, Linda, Dinah, Elaine, and Mary Beth. Faye was a dedicated nurse who loved her job with a passion! She worked at hospitals in Weatherford, Fort Wolters, and in Mineral Wells for many years. She was a member of Millsap Church of Christ, she loved crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. Faye was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that was loved and admired by many and will be greatly missed. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, JB; daughter, Dinah; parents; and 11 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Ford, Elaine Allison ,and Mary Beth Edwards; 7 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Memorials: American Heart Association.
