Jimmie Lee Marr

Jimmie Lee Marr, 82, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Marr was born, June 6, 1929 in Apache, Oklahoma to Thomas Andrew and Rosie Marr. He was a franchise owner of Evans Specialty Company, attended Four Square Church and was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea and Germany. Mr. Marr was a member of the VFW, loved to bake; he baked for many friends periodically baking for his church and the fire department.Survivors: Daughters, Jeannie Willier and husband Brent of Herford, Texas, Patti Godwin and husband Gary of Amarillo, Texas, Rhonda Demler and husband Kyle of Weatherford,  Texas, sons, Gary Marr of Atlantic, IA, Jimmy Marr of Panhandle, Texas, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Services will be held in Hereford, Texas at Hereford Heritage Funeral Home at 10AM Monday, February 13, 2012. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8PM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Interment will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford.
