Jimmie Lowen

Jimmie D Lowen was born February 7, 1947 and went to his Heavenly home October 18, 2018. Jim had a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He was a State Farm agent for many years and loved to fish, hunt, golf, shoot skeet, and play with his dogs.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie D Lowen. He is survived by his mother, Clara Hermanson of Kentucky. Other survivors include his daughter, Lori Mares, son-in-law, Dale Mares, and grandchildren, Jake and Ashton Mares. He has sisters, Peggy Davenport of North Carolina and her husband Ken Davenport, Jenny Boldt of Nebraska and her husband, Randy Boldt, and Patti McCord of Kentucky and her husband, Mike McCord. Jim has many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Jim loved deeply, lived fiercely, and died quickly.

There will be a celebration of his life Saturday, November 10 at 10am at Galbreaith-Pickard Hilltop Chapel located in Willow Park.
