Jimmie Wayne Ranspot, died at the age of 75. He lived in the Lambert Community since 1972.
Jimmie was born July 15, 1946, in Weatherford, Texas to J.T. and Merle Dudley Ranspot. He graduated from Brock School in 1964. Jimmie served in the Army from 1966 to 1968. He worked for Antenna Products for 38 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells where he was a leader of the Church. Jimmie loved to plant a garden and share with family, friends, and neighbors. Jimmie married Sue Neely, his high school sweetheart, on June 26, 1970. They had two sons, Kevin Ranspot and Jason Ranspot.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Engebretson, Betty Clepper; and brother, Lowell Ranspot.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; sons, Kevin, and Jason; grandchildren, Hunter Ranspot (Lauren), Dylan Ranspot, and Payton Ranspot; brother, Troy Ranspot (Patty); sister-in-law, Judy Ranspot; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Cooper; mother-in-law, Lula Mae Neely; brother-in-law, Leo Neely (Prissy); several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be Saturday, August 28, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at Greenwood Community Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Kevin Ranspot, Jason Ranspot, Hunter Ranspot, Dylan Ranspot, Payton Ranspot, Jowell Ranspot, Michael Blair, Jeremy Blair, and Josh Blair.
