Jimmy Dean Bradley, 84, of Weatherford, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 27, 2021, in Weatherford.
An hour of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday morning, at the South Main Church of Christ, 201 S. Main Street, in Weatherford. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the church. A graveside committal service will be held on Thursday, September 2, at 1:00 p.m., at Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Jimmy was born on August 31, 1936, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Jack and Ethel Bradley. He married Betty Lamb on August 17, 1958. Jimmy served in the Texas National Guard. He was a longtime member of the South Main Church of Christ in Weatherford. Jimmy worked as an aircraft technician at Lockheed for many years. Jimmy was “everybody’s friend” and “he never met a stranger.” He will affectionately be remembered for his dedication to everything he did and to his hard work ethic.
Jimmy is survived by his sister and husband, Linda and Alex Catoe; and by his nieces and nephews, Cody Catoe, Cayley Birchfield, Rusty Catoe, Teri Wright, Steve Bradley, Brad Bradley, Max Bradley, Jackie Bradley, J’Taun Kinkaide, M’Shaun Lamb, Alicia Ellis, Randy Ellis, and Rusty Ellis; sisters-in-law, Elena Bradley and Oney Lee Taylor; and by many other special family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, on December 29, 2020; and by his siblings, Bobby Bradley, Jack Bradley, and Kay Burks.
