Jimmy Dale Harwell

  Jimmy Dale Harwell, age 62, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Jimmy was born May 7, 1962, in Weatherford, Texas, to Lee Roy Harwell and Helen (Morgan) Harwell. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his infant sister, Joyce.

  A dedicated worker, Jimmy was known as a skilled mechanic, showcasing his passion for vehicles and his exceptional ability to repair them. He loved working for Southwire for many years and currently worked for AMR Ambulance Service, both in the Mineral Wells area. On weekends he could be found working with his lawn service business. Above all, Jimmy's greatest joy came from helping others. His compassionate spirit left a lasting impact on those around him. 

  Jimmy enjoyed the thrill of riding motorcycles and jet skis, and he cherished moments filled with fun, whether it involved playing pool, fishing, or supporting his beloved San Francisco 49ers.

  He is survived by his siblings: Terry Lee Harwell, Debbie Messimer and husband, Malcom, and Ralph N. Harwell, Sr.; his aunts, Lucy and Betty; his close cousin, Ray Henry Morgan and wife, Tonya; along with numerous nieces and nephews, who will remember him fondly.

  Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas. 

  A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the same location, with burial to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas. James Plowman will officiate, and serving as pallbearers will be Rick Vaughn, Ray Morgan, Ralph Harwell, Jr., Eddie Moore, T.J. Harwell, and Don Sherman.
