Joe Edward Sessum

Joe “Pop” Sessum age 87, of Weatherford, died peacefully early Saturday morning Aug. 4, 2012 in a Fort Worth Hospital surrounded by his loving family .He was  born January 18, 1925 in Kaufman County, Texas.  Joe was a car dealership owner and opened Sessum Motors in 1959 in Fort Worth  and later moved his business to Weatherford.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years .He was a most cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Mr. Sessum was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Effie Sessum, daughter, Jaris Hicks and a son-in-law, Johnny Hicks.

               Elizabeth Grissom and husband, Steve of Lebanon,Oregon
Brother – Charles Sessum of Ruidoso, New Mexico
Four Grandchildren – Kyle Sessum, Heather and Justin Stille, Kaitlyn Sessum
                                   Daelyn Sessum
Two Great Grandchildren – Hannah Sessum, Delani Stille
 

Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in the
Galbreaith Pickard Chapel with interment in Johnson Cemetery.
