Joedy Tilley

Joedy Tilley, 72, of Weatherford, died Tuesday. January 2, 2007 at a local nursing center.  Born October 1, 1934 in Weatherford, Texas, Joedy was a retired hair dresser and a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Welch, mother, Ina Lee Welch and sister, Margaret Stevens. The family would like to say thank you to Santa Fe Health and Rehab for the loving care provided to Joedy. Survivors: Daugher – Lynnie Lowry and husband Jerry of Weatherford. Son – James Hickman Jr. of Weatherford. Brother – T.V. Welch and wife Janelle of Weatherford. 3 grandchildren – Jeremy Lowry, Alisha Lowry and Katelyn Lowry. 4 great grandchildren – Abigail, Hannah, Peyton and Bryson. Funeral service: 2:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2007 in the Center Point Baptist Church, Interment to follow in the Center Point Cemetery. Rev. Scott Sealy officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
