John Chancellor, age 69, passed away on Thursday May 16, 2024.
John was born in Texas to Abe Chancellor and Lillian (Cantrell) Chancellor. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Abe Chancellor, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Carter Chancellor, and his daughter, Jillian Chancellor.
Forever in our hearts, John was a man of many talents and loved deeply. He was proficient at mechanics and could fix anything that needed repaired. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and competing in tournaments.
John served in law enforcement for nearly 20 years. He served last as Chief Deputy Constable for the community of Parker County.
Visitation will be held in a stateroom from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Acton Cemetery, in Granbury, Texas.
