John Cody Schutt

John Cody Schutt, 30, of Azle, Texas, passed away at his home on November 25, 2019. There will be a visitation to celebrate the life of Cody on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Cody was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Matt and Sandy Schutt. Cody graduated from Azle High School in 2007. From an early age, Cody grew up riding dirt bikes and he enjoyed the outdoors. He was a music enthusiast. He would travel to no end to listen to his favorite artists meeting many friends along the way.

Cody is survived by his wife, Latisha of Azle; children, Austin Vesper and his wife, Ashley, Jimmy Stevens, Mitchell Stevens, and Amberly Stevens; grandchildren, Cameron, Gracelynn Stevens, and Kason Westbrook; parents, Matt and Sandy Schutt of Azle; grandma, Frances Schutt of Azle; brother, Luke Schutt of Azle; sisters, Alicia Martin and husband, Zack of Weatherford, and Sara Schutt of Azle; niece, Audrey Martin and nephew, Zane Martin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marjorie McMillan, Bo Willett, and J.C. Schutt.
