John Edward Delaney

  John Edward Delaney, age 66, departed from this life on Thursday, August 1, 2024, to join his Lord and Savior. Born on March 6, 1958, in Houston, Texas, John was the beloved son of John T. Delaney and Audrey (Edwards) Delaney.

  A dedicated member of Life Church in Keller, John's selfless demeanor shone through in his commitment as a volunteer. His unwavering love for his church and family defined him. John will always be cherished for his compassionate nature, offering a supportive presence as a trusted confidant and friend.

  An avid fan of Houston sports, John took great joy in rooting for both the Houston Astros and Houston Texans. He also had a fondness for Mexican cuisine.

  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jan Delaney.

  Left to honor and cherish his memory are his son, John McCain Delaney (Tiffany) of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Natalie Ismert (James) of Stilwell, Kansas; and grandchildren, Tristan, Emma Jane, Lincoln, Archer, and one more grandchild, Baby Delaney, to arrive soon.

  A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at Life.Church Keller, 1075 Keller Pkwy, Keller, Texas 76248.
