John E. Teehee

John E. Teehee, 71, of Weatherford, peacefully went to heaven on Sunday, March 02, 2008, surrounded at home by his family. John was born September 14, 1936 in Stillwell, Oklahoma to Charlie and Juanita Sams Teehee. He was a full blood member of the Cherokee Nation.

John, a 50 year resident of Weatherford, owned and operated Weatherford Brake and Front End for 25 years. He was a past board member of Weatherford Little League, a life member of Weatherford Optimist Club and a Deacon at Center Point Baptist Church.

Mr. Teehee’s parents and a brother, Raymond Glass, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Emmaline; daughters, Judy Tidwell and husband Larry and Dinah Wren and husband Chris, all of Weatherford; grandchildren, Justin Tidwell and wife Christine of Lewisville, Jerrod Tidwell, Jessica Tidwell, John Ross Wren and Ashlyn Wren all of Weatherford; sister, Emma Galcatcher, Anna Duck and Ida Roberts all of Oklahoma and Beulah Acorn of Arkansas; brothers Amos Teehee, Roy Lee Teehee and Billy Wayne Teehee, all of Oklahoma. Numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Tuesday March 4, 2008 in the Center Point Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Center Point Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
