John Goldy Pilkington

John Pilkington, age 78, of Weatherford passed from this life Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at a local hospital. John was born January 4, 1941 in Santo, TX to Johnny and Dollie Williams Pilkington. He loved his family, Coached, for Weatherford Little League, Weatherford Optimist Club Pee Wee Football, Weatherford Little Dribblers, was an avid Cyclist, and loved to Elk Hunt in Colorado. John was a member of St. Stephens Catholic where he served as President of the Parish Council. He was also a 4th Degree Knight in the Knight of Columbus. In addition to his Parents John is preceded in death by his Sister Lila Ernst, and Great Grandson Gunner Chesnut.

John is survived by his Wife, Berta of Weatherford, Daughters, Morgan Chesnut and Husband Bobby of Millsap, Stacey Sloan and Husband Richard of Weatherford, Sons, Greg Pilkington and Wife Amy Jeff Pilkington and Wife Kristen both of Weatherford. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 6 great Grandchildren and a Host of other relatives and friends.

A Rosary and visitation will be at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel beginning at 6:00 pm on Friday March 1, 2019. the Funeral Mass will be on Saturday March 2 in the St. Stephens Catholic church at 10:00 am.
