John Mark McMichael, III

John Mark McMichael, III, 62, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Cremation has taken place and all services will be private.

John was born October 24, 1958, in Mineral Wells, Texas to John Mark, Jr., and Doris Evelyn McMichael. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan ever! John retired as an engineer on Amtrak. John will best be remembered for his sense of humor and for his love of all animals. His happy place was the beach. He loved to surf back in the day and thought the ocean was the most peaceful place. He was also always know for his sense of style. He always had the coolest clothes paired with hats,watches and shoes to match. John also enjoyed creating beautiful woodwork pieces. Most of all, John cherished time spent with his family – particularly his grandchildren and daughter.

John is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Ann and husband, Cole Davidson; his beloved grandchildren, Sebastian, Myles, Piper, Bodi, and Wren; by his sister, Mona McMichael; his special cousins, Robin and Carole Sanders; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his parents.
