John Ralph Cooper

John Ralph Cooper (87) of Weatherford, Texas, known to most as our beloved “Pop” went to be with our Lord and Savior, on June 19, 2022. John was one of ten brothers and sisters. He enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served and retired in 1977. This was what Pop was most proud of, besides his family. During his younger years he met Jackie and they had a very loving marriage of 50+ years. Together they raised three loving daughters. John took them all over the United States while on active duty, landing them in California for several years, and then finally calling Weatherford home in 1977.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jackie, our “Mimmay.”

John is survived by his three doting daughters, Deborah Henley and husband, Joey Henley; granddaughter, Mindy Maass and husband, Clint Maass; great-grandsons, Gunner Bullock and Hunter Maass and wife, Briana Maass; great great grandson, Carter Maass; granddaughter, Misty Triem and husband, Eddie Triem; great-grandson, Jaxon Triem; daughter Donna Tyree and husband, John Tyree; granddaughter, Crystal Klinger and husband, Gary Klinger; great granddaughter, Emma Nuncio and great-grandson, Elijah Nuncio; granddaughter, Michelle Tyree; grandson, Cody Tyree and wife, Sarah Tyree; great granddaughters, Faith, Scarlett, and Mia Tyree; daughter, Belinda Cooper; grandson, Tyler Davis and wife, Shawna Davis; great granddaughters, Kyleigh, Brilynn, and Cambree Davis; grandson, Austin Davis and wife, Erin Davis; sister, Betty Stilts; and brother, Joe Cooper; as well as several great nieces and nephews.

We as a family would like to thank the many caregivers for our Pop over the years, as well as family members who took such great care of him every single day. We rejoice in comfort knowing his time here in his temporary home was well spent, and he can now have eternal peace and joy.
