Johnnie Sherwood Dyess

Johnnie Sherwood Dyess, 68. of Dennis passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in a local hospital. Mr. Dyess was born April 4, 1938 in San Saba, a resident of Dennis for many years. He taught Math, Music, and Computer Science for 33 years between Sulphur Springs, White Settlement, Mineral Wells, Seymour, Electra and Joshua wear he retired in 1995. He loved to fish, do woodwork, raise Chihuahuas and play solitaire on the computer. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Elva Dyess and a sister Hilda Beasley. Survivors: Sons: Tony Dyess and wife Nancy of Dennis Randy Dyess and wife Judy of The Colony. Daughter: Gina Markel and husband David of Azle. Sisters: Doris Wall of Bertram, Elva Jo Lewis of Amarillo, Patsy Boyd of Granbury, Lou Estill of North Richland Hills. Nine grandchildren one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews
