Jose Bernal Vera

Jose Bernal Vera, age 66, of Weatherford, passed away November 8, 2017, at home with his family by his side. Jose was born January 15, 1951, in Hamlin, Texas, to Eusebio Vera and Audelia Bernal Vera. He was a retired mechanic for the railroad. Jose enjoyed the outdoors, some of his fondest times were fishing, shooting his guns or playing video games with his grandchildren.

Jose is survived by his daughters, Melissa Aaron and husband, Michael, Autumn Jones and husband, Quintin; son, Jose Vera and wife, Kathy; sisters, Della Salazar, Lupe Willenborg, and Sylvia Gomez; brothers, Patricio Vera, Vivian Vera, Eusebio Vera, Adolfo Vera, Fabian Vera, San Louis Vera, and Juan Vera; grandchildren, Christofer Aaron, Hannah Aaron, Hailey Aaron, Dyllan Vera, Quintin Jones, Jr, Abigail Vera, and William Vera.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Eusebio Vera; mother, Audelia Bernal Vera; sister, Martina Cutbirth; and brother, Fabian Vera.

Memorial service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2017, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Reverend David Allen will officiate.
