Joseph Francis Dimartino

Joseph Francis DiMartino, OFS, 67, of Azle, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Vitas Healthcare Hospice Inpatient Center, Fort Worth. He was born in Providence, RI, a son of the late Joseph and Frances DiMartino. Joseph was the beloved husband of Gail DiMartino for 48 years. He was a Train Dispatcher at BNSF and retired in 2010. He served in the RI National Guard for six years. Joseph was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, a Lay Minister at LaSalette Shrine, Attleboro, MA, Cursillista, and a Lector. He was a parishioner of Holy Redeemer, Aledo.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Gail DiMartino; loving daughter Julie DiMartino; son, Joseph DiMartino, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Howard) DiMartino. He was the proud grandfather of four grandsons, Nathan, Luke, Evan, and Graham DiMartino. He was the brother of Prudence Hrisanthopoulos of CA and the late Charlotte (DiMartino) McLaughlin.
