Joseph Weldon Kennedy Sr,  78 of Weatherford, died Thursday, December 13, 2007. Born May 6, 1929 in Royston, TX to Wesson "Big Daddy" and Effie Bell "Mammie" Heath Kennedy  residing in parker County most of his life He served in the National Guard, enjoyed morning domino games with childhood friends and best friend and brother in law Obie West, loved horse racing and was devoted to his work.  Weldon owned and operated Kennedy Sausage Company for over 50 years.  He was married 60 years to loving wife Thena Elaine Webb Kennedy. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Hilltop Baptist Church. His parents, sisters Sis West, Dorthy Ferdig, Glenda Moore, Wanda Hardin, Dorris Mitchell, Thelma Henry, and brother Garland Kennedy, Great grandchildren Jim Hayden Hill II, and Memphis Dale Richards precede him in death.He is survived by:Loving wife of 60 years Thena Elaine Webb Kennedy Daughters - Sherry Watson and husband Larry                                        Cathy Bulgerin and husband Steve                                       Lana Trimble Son - Joseph Weldon "Joey" Kennedy Son in Laws; Tony Hill and Anthony "Tony" Trimble SrGrandchildren; Joel Watson, Jeremiah Hill, Mandalyn Hill Richards & husband Josh Richards, Anthony Trimble Jr, and Amanda Trimble & Fiancée Jared Rogers Great Grandchildren; Brandon Hill, Jackson Richards, and Waylon RichardsBrother - Daulton Kennedy and wife Jerry Brother in law - Obie West There is no service scheduled at this time.
