Josh D. Richards

Mr. Josh D. “JD” Richards, age 88, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 in Weatherford.  He was born on December 28, 1924 to John Robert and Willie Laura Holmsley Richards in Whitt, Texas.   He was an avid Wanda’s goer, loved to take long drives, loved baseball games, and was a member of The Assembly of God Church. 
 
He leaves behind to cherish is memories is daughters, Benita Bingham of Hudson, Florida and Cathy Chancellor of Weatherford; son, Jeff Richards and wife, Joann of El Paso; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way.
 
He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Richards; and parents, John and Willie Richards.
 
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Graveside service will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Megargel Cemetery in Megargel, Texas.
 
Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel
