Joshua "Josh" James Brown

Joshua “Josh” James Brown, age 18 of Weatherford, died Thursday, December 29, 2011. Josh was born February 25, 1993 in Arlington, Texas. He was a member of the South Main Church of Christ, was last years Captain of the Weatherford High School wrestling team and was a 2011 graduate of Weatherford High School. Josh enjoyed life and loved his family. He was 100% boy with a big heart and was known for his hugs. Josh is preceded in death by his father, Donald Brown.
Survivors: Parents; Kristi Montgomery and husband Clifford of Weatherford, sisters, , Brittany Graue of Aledo, Courtney Brown of Bedford and brother, Colton Montgomery of Weatherford, niece, Kennedy and nephew Kellan, maternal grandparents, Karen Giles and husband David of Willow Park, grandfather, Ronnie Gill of Weatherford, Uncle, Jason Gill of Oceanside, CA, Paternal grandmother, Evelyn Brown of Wichita Falls, maternal great grandmother, Marie “MeMe” Gill of Fort Worth, and grandparents, Dale and Sandra Montgomery of Glen Rose.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 2, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church. Burial: Private. A candlelight vigil will be held on Sunday evening from 7-8 pm with visitation from 5-7 pm at South Main Church of Christ.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to WHS Wrestling Team or Weatherford Christian School.
