Joy Lynn

Joy Ann Lynn, age 82, passed from this life Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Joy was born January 15, 1940 in Weatherford, TX to A.J. Barry Sr. and Hattie Sheppeard. Joy was a housewife, she was a past President of Arlington City Council of PTAs, Life member of the National PTA, joined the Rainbow Girls holding many positions including Past Jr member of the Grand Executive Committee and a member of the Eastern Star.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents and brother A.J. Barry Jr.

Joy is survived by her Husband, Bob Lynn of Arlington, TX, daughters, Deborah and son-in-law, Michael McQuatters of Arlington, TX, and Kristi and son -in-law David Sylvester of Potosi, TX, Son, Barry Lynn of Arlington, TX, Sister, Sherry and husband Donald Brown of Weatherford, TX, Grandchildren, Colton McQuatters and wife Victoria of Grand Prairie, TX, Lauren McQuatters of Arlington, TX, Bre’Anna Lynn of Bryan/College Station, TX and Bobbye Lynn of Quitman, TX Great-granddaughters, Rylee and Sophia McQuatters. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Coates, Donald Brown, Grandson, Colton McQuatters and Carl Presley. Pallbearers are Matthew Bohac, Jaycek Jackson, Jimmy Dobbs, Boone Campbell, Jeff Gray, and Doug Brown.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, graveside service at 2:00 pm at Caddo Cemetery, Stephens County.
