Joyce Ann Hicks

Joyce Ann Hicks, 74, passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at her home in Weatherford.

Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home. Visitation: One hour prior to service.

Joyce Ann Hicks was born May 26, 1943, daughter of the late James Gilbert Outland and Rebecca Knight Outland. She was a woman of many talents and jack of all trades. Joyce made her career in the aeronautics industry and retired after many dedicated years of service. Her passions were her family first and foremost followed closely by sewing, quilting, baking, cooking, and crafts.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Charlotte Faye Hicks.

Survivors: Husband of 30 years, Mike Hicks of Weatherford; children, Nalita Young and husband, Tommy, of Granbury, Melissa Goodwin of Bristol, Va., Marty Vaughn of Katy, Becky Gall of Granbury, Ricky Vaughn of Weatherford, Adam Hicks and wife, Emily, of Fort Worth, and Zachary Hicks of Haslet; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Outland of Burbank, Ill.; and a host of loving family and friends.
