Joyce F Gilbreth

Joyce Fertitta Gilbreth went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 12,2018 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Ross Ogles Gilbreth, who passed in 1985.
Joyce passed peacefully at her home in Weatherford, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1931 in Albany, New York to parents Frank and Beatrice Fertitta. She graduated from Oneonta State College in Oneonta, New York with a teaching degree. She taught school in the United States and Germany. For the last several years, Joyce sold antiques at Miss B’s Antique Mall and volunteered her time at Manna in Weatherford. Joyce attended Westwood Christian Fellowship Church.
Joyce is survived by her three children; Laura Jo Carpenter and husband Marty, Carol Joy McWhorter and husband Joe and Michael Ross Gilbreth and wife Teri. She was a loving grandmother to; Marshall and wife Tara, Matthew and wife Corrie, Jacob and wife Hannah, Ross and wife Courtney, Michael and fiancé Sarah, Christin and husband Justin, Kyle and wife Tiffany and a loving great-grandmother to; Gavin, Gabriella, Grady, Gwen, Jaxon, Evan, Aubree, Leah and JC. She will forever be loved and missed.
