Jr Holmes

JR Holmes, of Weatherford, died Friday March 25, 2011 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. JR had a 50 year career as a horse owner and trainer.  He loved hunting and his hunting dogs. He was preceded in death by his father CH Holmes and mother Viola Nelson Holmes, two brothers Clarence Holmes and Herbert Holmes, two sisters Ruth Wisdom and Newella Phillips.
Survivors: Wife; Bobbe Holmes, son; John Holmes and wife Geneva, brother; Thomas Holmes, and three granddaughters; Desiree Aguillon, Allison Holmes, and Bridget Brookshire.
Graveside: Monday March 28, 2011 at 1:30PM in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel Monday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM.
