Juanita Harrison

Juanita Harrison, 91, of Brock passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2018, in Brock Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Brock Baptist Church Howard Cummins Sports Center Basketball Court, 2111 FM 1189, Weatherford, Texas 76087.

Juanita was born September 11, 1926, in Stephens County, Texas, to Ernest and Martha Smith Scarbrough. She worked for the City of Fort Stockton as a police dispatcher and driver’s license clerk prior to moving to Brock, where she began working in the school cafeteria. Juanita was a faithful member of Brock Baptist Church and a devoted member of the Brock Community. 

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Harrison; son, Terry Harrison; siblings, Geneva Nicholson, Hershall Scarbrough, Margarette Noe Overton, and Leon Scarbrough. 

Juanita leaves behind her children, Barbara Kneisley and husband, George of Midland, Judy Pue of Brock and Jackie Harrison, also of Brock; sister, Oleta Bloodworth; grandchildren, Jeffery D. Robertson of Wimberley, Kristi Brown of Billings, Montana, Ginger Dispain of Converse, Robert Harrison of Brock, Courtney McDuffie of Addison, Ashley Kraft of Fort Worth, Andy Harrison of Cresson, Brian Kneisley of Midland, Donna Bowen of Alaska, Jeff Sullivan of Weatherford, Kim Music of Ohio and Kayla Elmquist of Kansas; great grandchildren, Victoria Robertson, Breanna, Kallie Jo and Elijah Brown, Chase and Faith Dispain, Kaylee and Emily Robertson, Danielle, Allie and Andrew Harrison, Keegan McDuffie, Samuel and Sarah Kraft, and Alexus Harrison; and great great grandchildren, Elena Grace Robertson and George Thomas Kneisley.
