Juanita Towles

Juanita Towles, 86 years old, left this earth Wednesday, September 12, 2024, to join Jesus, her Lord and Savior, for her eternal home forever in heaven. Joining her love of 60 years, Harold Towles; two sons, Jim Towles and Randy Towles, greeting her in heaven; also, her mother and father, Naomi and James (Tom) Burns, of Weatherford, where Juanita was born on March 22,1938. 

Remaining are her daughters, Melody Glover and spouse, Geary of Millsap, and Charlotte Patterson and spouse, Rick of Wichita Falls; son, Gerald Towles of Vera, Texas; step-daughter, Pam Saul and spouse, Todd of Weatherford; sister, Wanda Richards of Mineral Wells; sister-in-law, Juanette Gilchrist of Celina; and her long-time special friend, Thelma Pemberton also remains. 

She has many grandchildren, great and great-great grands, along with multiple nieces and nephews, and friends too numerous to count. 

Juanita was a baker and baked many pies, cakes and cookies for the Weatherford area throughout her years. Her profession was Weatherford ISD Cafeteria Manager for 20 years at Shirley Hall Middle School and Austin Elementary. Her love for children shined as she poured herself into her own children and their friends. No child was unloved around her! A Proverbs 31 Woman. Her children rise up and call her Blessed!

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2024, at Center Point Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas.
