Julia Mae Duncan

Julia Mae Duncan, born October 21, 1918, at 92 years of age left for Glory, on Thursday, December 09, 2010 in her home.   Preceded in death by her husband Ivy Duncan; and surrounded by three daughters, Lena Montgomery, Viola Jones, Saundra and Jerry Waller and one son Billy Duncan and wife Glenda. There are five generations of grandchildren, loved ones and care givers. She has one remaining sister Mary. Julia was loved by many friends and especially her church family who honored her and allowed her to shine in her gifts and callings. She loved and served well and will be greatly missed.  Bro. Sonny Buckingham, together with other family, will honor the sweet life of Julie Mae through a funeral ceremony Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2PM in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Sunday at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
