Judy Wojcik, 82, of Weatherford, beloved mother, grandma, grammy, and GiGi, passed from this life Monday afternoon, October 11, 2021.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, at Central Christian Church, 1602 S. Main Street, in Weatherford. A graveside committal service will be held at 12:30 p.m., on Monday, October 18, at the Hominy City Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma.
Judy was born September 8, 1939, in Hominy, Oklahoma, to Mitch and Gladys Snipp. She was a 1957 graduate of Hominy High School. Judy married Tom Wojcik on March 1, 1958 and together had three children, Sheri, Steve, and Scott. She stayed at home to raise her family and later went to work at Oklahoma State University in the Animal Science Department. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, and playing “42” and was a Skipbo champion! Judy will be remembered for her sweet spirit, her loving kindness to everyone. Judy particularly loved her friends and caregivers at Clearfork Assisted Living in Willow Park. Most of all, Judy cherished time spent with her family – particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her children, Sheri (Bill) Stewart, Steve (Rhonda) Wojcik, and Scott (Allene) Wojcik; her grandchildren, Abby (Shaun), Sage (T.J.), and Jake; her great-grandchildren, Dean, Sara, and Truett; and by her cousin and best friend, Georgia Hester.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Tom Wojcik in 2014. Judy became a Texan in the last four years and enjoyed every minute! Everywhere she went her spirit was easily recognized and quickly known as “such a sweetheart”. She was a wonderful blessing in our lives.
