June Berry

June “Honey” Berry, age 79, of Cashion, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 while surrounded by her family. June was born to Elmer and Ada Sharp on June 13, 1940 in Dublin, Texas and was the youngest of seven children until her father remarried and was one of fourteen children. June married in 1957 and lived in Whitt, Texas where she was a homemaker and stayed home raising her children. In 1986 June was introduced to the love of her life, Nathan “Peck” Berry, they were married until he passed away in 1996. June loved to fish, garden, travel, and most importantly loved her family. She was known to family as “Honey” and was always the one to keep her family together and always had a smile on her face while doing it. In 2009 June moved to Cashion, Oklahoma to be closer to two of her daughters. She is survived by her children, Kay Heaton and husband Mike of Cashion, Glenda Sharp and husband Jimmy of Peaster, Eddie John Kincaid of Whitt, Jackie Bailey and husband Cecil of Cashion, grandchildren, DeAnn, Katie, Sara, Glenn, Bubba, John Vance, Matthew, Natasha, Joah, and Nathan, 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Friday,
November 1st, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 2nd at the Tin Top Cemetery.
