June Winifred Cobb

June Winifred Cobb, 85, of Weatherford, passed away late Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Hilltop Nursing & Rehab in Weatherford.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 5 P.M., on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Visitation with the family will be from 4 P.M. until the time of the service, Saturday afternoon, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

June was born in Leicester, England on June 7, 1932 to Percy Thomas and Winifred Gunby. She moved to the United States and became a citizen.

June is survived by her children, Sharon Gaines, Nicola Byerly (Randy), Paul Summerfield-Brice (Jeannie), Martyn Summerfield-Brice (Virginia), Angela Cook (Steven), Victoria Baker, and Anne Peate (Porky); grandchildren, Sara Thornton, William Thornton, Adam Byerly, Ryan Byerly, Matthew Cook, Emma Christensen, Kenneth Cook, Danielle Summerfield-Brice, Gary Elmore, Krystal Summerfield-Brice, Hollie Summerfield-Brice, Lucy Summerfield-Brice, Katie Summerfield-Brice, Shawn Peate, Jase Peate, Simon Brown, and Carl Brown; and by 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, George Cobb.
