J.W. Vestal

J.W. “Buddy” Vestal, age 88, of Weatherford, passed away January 5, 2022. Buddy was born in Authon, Texas to Robert and Lois Vestal on October 15, 1933. J.W. served in the US Army from March of 1954 to April of 1956. He was a retired superintendent of Garner ISD and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford. He was involved in the local VFW and a member of the American Legion. Buddy loved fishing and watching sports, especially baseball and softball. 

He is survived by his wife, Ann of Weatherford, daughters, Jeri Douglas of Weatherford and Kodi Novinski of Destin, Florida, sons, David Vestal of Clifton, Texas, Ricky Adams of Millsap, Texas, Barry Albrecht of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Garry Albrecht of Euless, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
