Karen Fay Lamkin Walker, 83, went to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at her home in Weatherford.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial: Authon Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Karen Fay Lamkin Walker was born Jan. 6, 1935, in Garner. She made her career as an executive secretary for Lockheed Martin and retired after 38 years of very dedicated service. In her spare time, Karen had a real love for jewelry and clothes shopping.
On Feb. 20, 2003, at First Baptist Church of Weatherford, she married Ronald Walker, whom she had attended grade school, middle school and high school with. Karen graduated with the class of 1953 from Millsap High School. She was a member of North Side Baptist Church for nearly 60 years.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; and brother.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Ronald Walker of Weatherford; sister, Norma Kathleen Norton of Weatherford; nephew, Byron Ray Norton; and a host of loving church family.
