Katherine B. Henderson

Katherine B. Henderson, 92, of Weatherford, passed away early Sunday morning, June 3, 2018. 

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Tin Top Church of Christ with interment to follow in Tin Top Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Katherine was born on February 24, 1926 in Parker County, Texas to the late Claude Johnson Berry and Ruby E. Sisk. She married Vernon Henderson on August 7, 1943. Vernon passed away in 2009. Katherine was a graduate of TCU and was a teacher for 27 years, retiring in 1979. She taught at Wampler School for 5 years and Weatherford ISD for 22 years. She was a long time member of the Tin Top Church of Christ. 

Katherine is survived by her brother, George Berry; sister, Thelma Mills; daughter, Carolyn Gildow; sons, Woody Henderson and wife, Karen, and Ron Henderson and wife, Rosemary; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
