Katie Briscoe

Cecil and Katie Briscoe passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at their residence. Katie was born September 22, 1932 in San Angelo, Texas to A.E. and Annie Patterson Cowley. She retired from Sears. Katie was a member of The Eastern Star, she enjoyed painting and making ceramics. Cecil was born May 15, 1930 in Peaster, Texas to W.A. and Palmer Hobbs Briscoe. He worked for General Dynamics. Cecil was a lifelong resident of Parker County, an Army Veteran and a member of the Phoenix Masonic Lodge #275. Cecil and Katie are survived by Cecil’s brother, Johnie Briscoe and wife Isabelle as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.
A memorial graveside will be at 11AM, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Oakland Cemetery.
