Katy Mae McGill

Katy Mae McGill, 78, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. McGill was born September 10, 1931, in Grandview, Texas. She was a homemaker, a member of the Presbyterian Church and loved traveling and spending time with family and friends.  Her son, Leslie Vonn McGill, precedes her in death.

Survivors: husband; Vonn McGill of Weatherford; daughter, LaVonna Jackson of Weatherford; sisters, Glenda Ford of Mineral Wells, Bonnie Marlow of Mineral Wells, and Betty Ann Gammill of Pottsville; brothers, Leslie Dickey of Penelope, Texas and Ned E. Dickey of Arlington; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother in law, Vola B Nix McGill.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
