Kellie Rutledge Wilson, life time resident of Parker County and daughter of prominent real estate family, died at Baylor All Saints Hospital early Friday morning, August 21 after a hard fought battle against cancer. Kellie was an avid community volunteer who served on various school committees, worked endless hours on charitable boards and supported the FFA and 4H through her work with the Parker County Livestock Improvement Association. She was a people person who never met a stranger and who loved family, country living and kids, and she never missed an event with her husband and son in anything that involved the Cowboy Way.
She is survived by her husband Rick and son Reis, her mother and father Mr. and Mrs. Ernie B. Rutledge, grandfather Earl Kelley, brother Eric and his wife Amy, a dedicated and very special sister-in-law, and niece Haley and nephew Chase, her mother and father- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald H.
