Kenneth A. Daily, 89, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, with his wife, Phyllis Overton, by his side. He was born on June 25, 1934, in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after his birth, he was adopted by Felix and Mabel Daily in San Antonio, Texas.
Kenneth served in the United States Air Force, from June 1952 to June 1956 during the Korean War, and retired from Universal Blueprint Paper Company/Ridgeway.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Overton; daughter, Cindy Knackstedt; granddaughter, Natalie James, her husband, Robert; great-grandchildren, Stella and Mason James; nephew, Jim Ed Haile, his wife, Kari, their sons, J. Wylie and John Rex; niece, Shannon Parum, her husband, John, and their daughter, Brady Sherman and her wife, Brittany; and Lillian Haile. Kenneth also had a loving extended family: Gaby and Milton Krumm, Ronnie Harris, Lucas James, Cindy Boullt, and Chris Abel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, S. June Seedig Daily; and wife, Helen Harris Daily.
Kenneth loved golf. He was a Colonial Country Club Marshall and Co-Chair for over 40 years. For his distinguished and prolonged volunteer service, he was inducted into the Pride of the Plaid in May 2020.
He was a "force of nature." A strong person, full of humor, unstoppable and unforgettable. Kenneth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2024, at the Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, in Willow Park, Texas.
